We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager for Solar and Storage in Central California with a strong background in technical and channel sales to join the Schneider Electric Solar + Storage team.


What will you do?

  • Proactively develop and manage relationships with installers to purchase our products through distribution.
  • Engage in co-selling activities with distribution partners in coordination with Distribution Sales Managers.
  • Coordinate account support with Sales Applications Engineers, Customer Service, Sales Admin, as required.
Qualifications:
  • Looking for 6+ years of sales experience
  • Experience promoting technical products, solar and storage products are a plus

The U.S. compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $150,000-$200,000 for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Installation Quality Operations team partners closely with the Regional Installation teams. Tesla Energy currently installs out of 53 warehouses across 12 regions in the USA. The Quality Ops team’s organization structure closely reflects this regional structure with Installation Quality Specialists located in most warehouses and reporting up to Regional Quality Managers. The Installation Quality Operations core purpose is to audit the installations of residential energy products and drive high quality installs at a regional level. What You’ll Do
  • Audit residential energy job sites: go onto roofs and in customers’ homes to audit product
  • Identify failures, take pictures, and create audit reports of findings
  • Perform light rework on jobsite and create rework cases for more significant repairs. Review failures with the install team and install leadership on site or in team meetings
  • Attend team meetings and mandatory training sessions on new products, best installation practices, and standard workmanship guidelines. Managing time and tasks effectively with a sense of urgency
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience to all customers. Providing installation solutions to field teams as the higher installation / product knowledge resource
  • Process audit residential installation teams: work with a crew to identify plt detractors, process, and quality non-compliance, and evaluate project and jobsite management. Coach best practices whenever inefficiencies are discovered
  • Create a culture focused on safety using systems of accountability and recognition while following safety policies and procedures as outlined by state, local, OSHA, and Tesla policies. Willingness to travel as needed
What You’ll Bring
  • Understanding of roofing and residential electrical systems. Understanding of electrical code preferred. 3+ years experience in the roofing, solar panel install, Powerwall and/or home electrical disciplines
  • Must be able to work at great heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attic etc.). Must meet all OSHA standards for working at heights including: Ability to climb and utilize equipment on site including various ladders rated for a maximum capacity of 325lbs. Must be able to meet equipment standards for fall protection (harness, anchor, ropes, etc.) with a maximum capacity of 310lbs.

Job Summary:

The Production Line Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a production area to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Other main responsibilities include: Coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity. Monitoring production activity, identifying process problems, troubleshooting causes and developing solutions. Suggesting improvements to improve efficiency and safety. Delivering or coordinating staff training and on-boarding new staff. Ensuring all safety policies and processes are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking the achievement of production KPIs.
  • Responsible for daily continuous tracking and timely and effective communication with other departments regarding unresolved issues raised by various departments, providing guidance to ensure that these issues are resolved.
  • Responsible for managing the property and personal safety of workshop personnel, as well as implementing reward and punishment measures.
  • Responsible for conducting daily assessments of shift supervisors and team leaders in the workshop, assigning improvement projects to each individual, and organizing weekly meetings to drive the progress of improvement projects.
  • Responsible for collecting workshop KPI metrics, analyzing on-site management project indicators, and implementing targeted improvements.
  • Responsible for objectively evaluating employee performance based on various indicators and continuously improving and enhancing teamwork efficiency.
  • Responsible for implementing and continuously optimizing on-site 6S management, controlling defects, and reducing costs.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant work experience.
  • Requires 3-5 years’ experience in the related area.
  • Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
  • Strong experience of productions safety and lean production required.
  • Strong Knowledge of ISO9001 and work-floor 6S standard.
  • Ability to work under pressure, coordination ability, interpersonal communication ability, planning and execution ability.
